Sewing Workshop for Beginners: How to Sew a Peplum Top

Welcome to our Let’s Sew! Beginner’s Workshop on how to sew your very own Peplum Top! This workshop is perfect for those who are familiar with a sewing machine and are ready to start making their handmade wardrobe. Our beginner workshops run through the basics in a step-by step format with our lovely and very talented teacher, Amy, who will be leading the way! By the end, you’ll have the skillsets and confidence to continue to grow your own handmade wardrobe!

What’s included:
– Printed Peplum pattern by Peppermint Magazine
– Use of scissors, pins & iron
– Tea, coffee, water & biscuits!

What you need to bring:
– 2m of woven fabric (not stretch) with a 150cm width. We recommend using a viscose fabric.
– Thread
– Sewing machine

If you would like to make your top out of one of our fabrics, you can request a design to be brought to the day and you’ll receive a 15% discount on the fabric!

Sewing Machine Hire:
You can either bring your own sewing machine or you can hire one from us for the session at a cost of £10.00. The perfect way to try a new hobby before committing to purchasing a machine of your own!
