A Sewing Workshop for complete newbies: How to Use a Sewing Machine
Welcome to our Let’s Sew! Beginner’s Workshop on how to use a sewing machine! Whether you’re eager to start a new hobby or you’ve always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine, this workshop will get you on your way! Our beginner workshops run through the basics in a step-by step format with our lovely and very talented teacher, Amy, who will be leading the way! By the end, you’ll feel confident to set-up and start using a sewing machine!

WHAT’S INCLUDED

1. Understanding your Sewing Machine
Before using your sewing machine, it’s important to familiarise yourself with the main parts. We will run through key features of the sewing machine, how to set up the machine and the basic stitches.

2. Your First Project!
We will show you how to make your very own hair scrunchie. A perfect gift for either yourself or a loved one!

3. Printed Guide
Take home a printed guide of the key points discussed during the workshop.

4. What to bring
Fabric and thread are included.
Pins and scissors will be available to use.
You can either bring your own sewing machine or you can hire one from us for the session at a cost of £10.00. The perfect way to try a new hobby before committing to a machine of your own!
Tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be available.
