Welcome to our Let’s Sew Beginner’s Workshop – how to use an overlocker machine! Whether you’re eager to start a new hobby or you’ve always wanted to learn how to use an overlocker machine, this workshop will get you on your way! Our beginner workshops run through the basics in a step-by step format with our lovely and very talented teacher, Amy! By the end, you’ll feel confident to set-up and start using an overlocker machine!
We have a maximum of 6 people in our workshops – perfect for a personal teaching experience.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
1. Understanding your Overlocker Machine
Before using the overlocker machine, it’s important to familiarise yourself with the main parts. We will run through key features of the overlocker machine, how to thread it and how to start using it.
2. Your First Project!
We will show you how to make a hair scrunchie.
3. Printed Guide
Take home a printed guide of the key points discussed during the workshop.
4. What’s Included
– Fabric
– Pins and scissors will be available to use.
– Tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be available.
