A Sewing Workshop: Let’s Sew a Quilted Jacket
Welcome to our Let’s Sew Workshop on how to sew a quilted jacket! This workshop is perfect for those who are familiar with a sewing machine and are ready to expand their handmade wardrobe. Our workshops run through the basics in a step-by step format with our lovely and very talented teacher, Amy. By the end, you’ll have the skillsets and confidence to continue to grow your own handmade wardrobe!
We have a maximum of 6 people in our workshops – perfect for a personal teaching experience.
What’s included:
– Printed Quilted Jacket pattern by Peppermint Magazine
– Use of scissors, pins & iron
– Tea, coffee, water & biscuits!
What you need to bring:
– 2.5m of outer fabric (cotton (not stretch) with a 150cm width.)
– 2.5m of lining fabric (cotton (not stretch) with a 150cm width.)
– 2.5m of 100% cotton wadding/batting (150cm wide)
– Quilting safety pins
– Long ruler
– Chalk / fabric pen / fabric pencil
– Walking foot for your sewing machine but not essential
– Thread / basic sewing kit
– Sewing machine

Sewing Machine Hire:
You can either bring your own sewing machine or you can hire one from us for the session at a cost of £10.00. The perfect way to try a new hobby before committing to purchasing a machine of your own!
